TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Promoter
The promoter is: CRTA Awards Limited of 218A Brick Lane, London E1 6SA (“Promoter”).
2. Entrant
The person taking part in the Prize Draw (“Entrant”).
3. Contestant
3.1 The person chosen from a random draw of entries for the Prize concerned (“Contestant”).
4. Grand finale
4.1 The date of winner announcement (“Grand Finale”).
5. The Prize Draw
5.1 Win A Pair of Return Tickets to Europe by nominating your favourite Restaurant and Takeaways (“Prize Draw”)
6. The Prize(s)
6.1 Pair of Return Tickets to Europe (“Prize”).
7. How to enter:
7.1 To enter the Prize Draw:
(a) To submit entries online go to crtauk.com. Create an account by registering your details. Complete the online nomination entry form and submit no later than the closing date and time. An automated email will be generated. Entrants must verify their email address by clicking the link emailed to them to confirm entry into the prize draw.
(b) To submit entries by hand, go to crtauk.com and download the nomination entry form. Entries must be handed to the Restaurants and Takeaways nominated no later than the closing date and time.
(c) To submit entries by post, write to the address set out at condition 1. Entrants must clearly state their postal address to which the entry nomination form will be sent. Entries must be received by the Promoter no later than the closing date and time.
7.2 Prize draw(s) will run till 23:59 on 15th December 2018. (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
7.3 All prize draw entries must be received by the Promoter at the address set out at condition 1 by no later than the Closing Date and time. All Prize Draw entries received after the Closing Date and time are automatically disqualified.
7.4 Winner Selection: All valid nominations received by the Promoter during the Promotion Periods will be entered into a prize draw to be conducted on the dates stated and adjudicated by the marketing team at CRTA Awards Ltd.
7.5 Winner Notification: Winner will be contacted within 7 working days of the draw and will be required to confirm eligibility plus acceptance of the prize within 48 hours of initial contact. In the event the winner does not respond to communications within the 48 hours of initial contact, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and allocate that prize to an alternative winner selected in the same manner.
7.6 The Promoter will not accept:
(a) Responsibility for Prize Draw entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind;
or
(b) Proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Draw.
7.7 By submitting prize draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

7.10 One Winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw(s) will be performed by a random computer process. The outcome of the draw(s) will be final.
7.11 Name of the Winner selected from the draw can be viewed on crtauk.com and all CRTA Social Media from the Closing Date to the date of the Grand Finale.
7.12 Name of winner will can be viewed on crtauk.com and all other CRTA Social Media throughout the year from the date of Grand Finale.
8. Eligibility
8.1 The Prize Draw(s) is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) Employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Prize Draw or its administration;
(c) Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
8.2 In entering the Prize Draw(s), you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
8.3 The Promoter will not accept Prize Draw entries that are:
(a) Automatically generated by computer;
(b) Completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) Illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(d) Photocopies and not originals; or
(e) Incomplete.
8.4 Entrants are not allowed to nominate the same nominee in the Prize Draw again. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
8.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.
8.6 Prize Draw entries cannot be returned.
9. The prize
9.1 The winning prize is Pair of Return Tickets to Europe.
9.2 The Pair of Return Tickets to Europe is provided by Madhu’s Limited, 39 South Road, Southall, Middlesex, UB1 1SW.
9.3 The winner must make their own arrangements to legally collect the Prize from the provider.
9.4 The winner is responsible for insuring all other liabilities and responsibilities arising from the owning the prize.
9.5 It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they have valid documentation to collect the Prize from the provider.
9.6 The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
9.7 Prize is subject to availability.
9.8 Third party terms and conditions apply to parts of the prizes where applicable.
9.9 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
10. Winner announcement
10.1 The winner of the Prize Draw will be announced in Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway Awards Facebook and Twitter Page after the Grand Finale to be held at Hilton Hotel Heathrow - Terminal 5 on 23rd December 2018. (“Grand Finale”).
10.2 The result of the prize draw is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
10.3 The winner can be viewed on crtauk.com throughout the year from the Grand Finale date.
11. Claiming the prize
11.1 The winner of the prize, will have 48 hours from the date of declaration in Social Media and initial contact from CRTA. If you do not claim the prize by this period your claim will become invalid.
11.2 The winner must claim the prize. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
11.3 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the prize.
11.4 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
12. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
12.1 The Promoter disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw(s).
12.2 The Promotor will not be responsible or liable for any data charges incurred by the network providers for using the website.
12.3 The Promotor reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Prize Draw(s) with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of the Promotor in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
12.4 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
13. Ownership of Prize Draw entries and intellectual property rights
13.1 All Prize Draw entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.
13.2 By submitting your Prize Draw entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
(a) Assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
(b) Waive all moral rights, in and to your Prize Draw entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
13.3 You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website crtauk.com and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Prize Draw(s). You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the Prize Draw entry and any accompanying.
13.4 You agree to receive newsletters and other promotional offers from the Promoter by post or email.
14. Data protection and publicity
14.1 By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you hereby give consent to the Promoter to use your name, image and town or county of residence, if you are the winner of any of the Prize Draw(s) in any publicity announcement of the Prize Draw and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
14.2 You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
14.3 By entering the Prize Draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the Prize Draw entry may be held and used ONLY by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the Prize Draw(s) and upcoming promotions.
Please email us at if you are not happy for us to disclose your personal data to selected third parties so that they can provide you with information about their goods or services.
15. General
15.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Prize Draw.
15.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
15.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
